Taofeek Saka Film/Blender Themes in art History
What theme or concept will you explore this year?
A theme that I find interesting this year is war and horror I like the scenery in war-based battle scenes and how the protagonist fights through battles to win against all the odds. The way I'm going to use the war theme this year is by creating a fictional cartoon. My character will be an Independent person, with the ability to be able to not rely on others and be able to self-sustain. There are different movies that display the theme of warlike, Human Experience. As a society, we experience similar struggles with the emotions and issues that affect our lives. Using this theme, I can create three-dimensional characters that audiences can relate to. In this way, the viewer likes or dislikes certain characters in the story. I believe I like films in which the scene starts off slow and then builds up different plots. Some films I can relate to are Terminator, Operation Mincemeat, Pippa, The Bay, The Ambush, and Beshoot. The reason why I love all these movies is that they build up suspense and then they're like a plot twist when it seems as if the main character is not going to succeed in the battle or action he's going to do and then he just wins by a hair. In my opinion, connecting and building a relationship with an audience is one of the most important things a film can do. I'll make the film start off with the character started with a dark and horrible background like when he was younger he used to be bullied by the people in his village and then he found out that he had a secret hidden power that he can fight others at another level. by doing this my I will grow my audience to love the film in a way its an animated series. A film should always build relationships with the audience and connections film is much more than just watching it.
